As I begin this new year of writing and publishing, I thought it was important to revamp my website too. So here I am on WordPress! I will make an official announcement of my move on my current blog tatianamoore07.blogspot.com as soon as I’m up and running here.

Ooh, I think I like the set up. It’s very sleek and clean and just seems more professional.
Do you know if you’ll have the opportunity in the future to change it from .wordpress.com to just tatianamoore at some point?

Thanks! I was hoping for a more professional feel, which you just can’t get with Blogger. Some of my friends have used this site instead and I like it (although it’s a little difficult to navigate at first). I do think I’ll end up buying a domain name. I hope tatianamoore.com isn’t taken. 🙂

Hmm, for wordpress is there an option to ‘follow’ like with blogger so you’ll show up on my blogroll or do I have to check for new updates regularly? It’s not an issue as I do that with other blogs but I’m just curious as to how ‘easy’ this is to keep track of.

It looks like there’s a +Follow button that pops up at the bottom right of the page. I think you can sign up for email notifications. Would that work? I thought you could manually add blogs to your blog roll on Blogger?

Yup, just signed up.
And you know what? I think you can add blogs manually to blogger, I haven’t done it in a while and I forgot but its fine, I don’t mind getting the email subscription.
